NUST LMS Auto Login: privacy policy

What the extension does

It logs you back into lms.nust.edu.pk when your session expires, and can ping the LMS every 10 minutes so the session doesn't time out.

What it stores

The username and password you type into the extension popup, your on/off settings, and the latest status message. All of it is saved in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. The password is not encrypted by the extension, so anyone with access to your Chrome profile could read it. Use the extension only on a device you trust.

Where data goes

Your username and password are sent only to lms.nust.edu.pk, to log you in. The extension has no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It does not send data to the developer or to any third party, and it does not sell or share data.

Permissions

storage saves the settings above. alarms schedules the 10 minute ping. Access to lms.nust.edu.pk lets the extension fill in the login form and make background requests to that site. It does not run on any other site.

Removing your data

Clear the fields in the popup and press Save, or uninstall the extension. Either one deletes the stored credentials from your device.
